Picotee Ranunculus

Picotee Aviv ranunculus is a standout selection from the Aviv series, bred for large, rose-like blooms with distinctive two-tone coloring. Each flower features silky, multi-layered petals edged in a contrasting hue—such as pink on white or red on yellow—creating a hand-painted effect that’s especially prized in cut flower arrangements and wedding bouquets.

These tuberous perennials thrive in full sun and well-drained soil, blooming in late spring to early summer when planted in early spring (Zones 4–7) or fall (Zones 8–10). Soak the claw-like corms before planting 2 inches deep and 4–6 inches apart. Once established, they’re deer-resistant, moderately drought-tolerant, and bloom for 6–8 weeks.

Ideal for cutting gardens, containers, and borders, Picotee Aviv ranunculus brings refined drama and color contrast to seasonal displays.
