Amaryllis 'Barbados' reaches 18 to 24 inches tall, featuring 6 to 8 inch velvety red trumpet-shaped blooms with a striking white star at the center. Each jumbo-sized bulb (36/+) produces three to four thick stalks, with four to five blossoms per stem, blooming 8 to 12 weeks after planting.
Note: Unlike Southern Hemisphere-grown amaryllis, Dutch bulbs do not bloom in time for Christmas—flowering instead from January to March

Fertilization: Apply a balanced liquid fertilizer every 2–4 weeks during active growth.
