Amaryllis Dutch 'Exotic Star'

Amaryllis

Amaryllis ‘Exotic Star’ reaches 18 to 24 inches tall and showcases 6- to 8-inch orchid-like blooms with vivid chartreuse petals etched in bold raspberry veining, converging into a rich, dark raspberry center. Each jumbo-sized bulb (36/+) produces two to three sturdy stalks, each bearing four flowers, blooming 8 to 12 weeks after planting.

Note: Unlike Southern Hemisphere-grown amaryllis, Dutch bulbs do not bloom in time for Christmas—flowering instead from January through March.
