Anemone Coronaria Double 'Mount Everest'

Windflower

Anemone ‘Mount Everest’ is a refined St. Brigid‑type selection distinguished by its fully double, snow‑white blooms. The densely layered petals create a soft, ruffled, almost peony‑like form, giving the flowers exceptional volume and a luminous presence in the garden or vase. Grown from size 8+ corms, plants typically reach 10–14 inches tall and produce full, elegant 2–3 inch blooms that bring a clean, sophisticated look to borders, containers, and cut‑flower designs.

In zones 7–10, ‘Mount Everest’ can be planted in fall for late‑winter to early‑spring flowering. In cooler climates, it performs best when started indoors or planted in spring for summer blooms. It thrives in full sun to part shade and prefers well‑drained, humus‑rich soil. Pre‑soaking the corms before planting encourages strong root development and ensures a lush, reliable display.
