I have worked with A.D.R. Bulbs for almost 5 years now, and my company has sourced bulbs with them for longer than that. Communication is great - from ordering, to deliveries, to follow-ups on final product. I love the quality of the product as well as the service. We plant nearly 100,000 bulbs and A.D.R. keeps the whole process easy for us!

Planting: In spring, plant tubers 3 to 4 inches deep with the eye facing up, once soil has warmed to at least 60°F. Space 12 to 18 inches apart—Gallery dahlias are compact, making them ideal for containers and small garden spaces.
Location: Full sun (6–8 hours daily) is best. In hot climates, light afternoon shade helps prevent stress.
Soil: Fertile, well-drained soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0–7.0). Enrich with compost or aged manure before planting.
Watering: Water deeply once or twice a week, keeping soil evenly moist but not soggy. Avoid watering until shoots emerge to prevent rot.
Temperature: Hardy in USDA zones 8–10. In colder zones, lift tubers after frost and store in a cool, dry place.
Fertilization: Feed every 4–6 weeks with a balanced or low-nitrogen fertilizer. Too much nitrogen can reduce flowering.
Pruning: Pinch back when plants reach 8–10 inches tall to encourage bushiness. Deadhead regularly to extend bloom time.
Pest & Disease: Watch for aphids, slugs, and powdery mildew. Ensure good air circulation and avoid overhead watering.
Propagation: Divide tubers in spring, ensuring each has at least one viable eye.
