World’s Favorite is a Darwin Hybrid tulip introduced in the early 2000s. It features large, tomato-red blooms edged in golden yellow, creating a vivid, flame-like effect that glows in mid to late spring. The flowers can reach up to 6 inches across and are held on strong, upright stems about 20 to 22 inches tall.
It’s a popular choice for mass plantings and public displays thanks to its saturated color and weather resistance. World’s Favorite is also the parent of World Peace, a more recent sport with a refined bicolor pattern and slightly more compact stature.

Light: Full sun is essential for strong stems and rich bloom color. While light shade is tolerated, abundant light ensures upright growth and long-lasting flowers.
Soil: Provide well-drained, neutral to slightly acidic soil (pH 6–7). Avoid poorly drained areas—these large bulbs are prone to rot in wet spring conditions.
