Pulmonaria 'Mrs. Moon' is a classic lungwort with deep green leaves adorned with well-separated silver spots. In mid-spring, nodding clusters of magenta-pink buds open into pink bell-shaped flowers that mature to bright blue, often displaying both colors at once. Thriving in part shade to full shade, it prefers rich, well-drained soil and consistent moisture. This low-growing perennial is ideal for woodland gardens, shady borders, and ground cover plantings.

Growing and Maintenance Tips for Pulmonaria Mrs. Moon (Ships in Spring)

Planting: Plant in spring or fall, setting the crown just at soil level. Choose a shaded or partially shaded site—ideal under deciduous trees or along woodland edges.
Spacing: Space plants 12 to 18 inches apart to allow for mature spread and airflow.
Light: Prefers partial to full shade. Too much sun can scorch the leaves, especially in warmer zones.
Soil: Moist, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. A slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0–7.0) is ideal.
